RAY GELATO QUARTET

Ray Gelato, vocals and sax.

Gelato is a genuine showman who has built his artistic career on the sound of Louis Prima. Following his wonderful concert in May, we once again present this formidable singer and his band, safe in the knowledge that they will give us an irrepressible selection from the heroes of the swing era.

GALA NIGHT

BENNY GREEN TRIO

The history of the piano as an instrument for creating harmonies, rhythm, melodies, improvisation and composition is prolific. Its wide range includes the world of jazz which is filled with illustrious names, styles and influences. Benny Green is one of the greatest pianistic talents currently on the international jazz scene, whose music is exuberant, while at the same time concise, hypnotic and intimate. Benny Green offers a unique concert that shows his enthusiasm for the Keyboard celebrations.

At the end of the concert a draw will be held amongst the attendees for a collection of six lithographs of the author Mag on the subject of jazz, which have been given by the Galeria d'Art Anquin's.

PIANO AND CELLO CONCERT

In this recital, Núria and Marta combine excellent balance, creativity and virtuosity. The music of Schuman, Fauré, Bruch and Cassadó is presented in a new and refreshing way.
